About us

Affirm Care provide a range of disability support services to clients in the Perth metro area.

Who We Are

Affirm Care was established in mid-2020 by the Founding Directors, Tatenda and Portia Muchandibaya, who collectively have almost 30 years years of experience as social care professionals.

They heard that people living with disabilities are frustrated with service providers identifying them by their disabilities, and not seeing them for who they are and what they can do, especially for those people from culturally diverse backgrounds.

Portia and Tatenda want to provide a values-driven service ensuring human connectedness, where recipients of disability support services are identified by their names and not NDIS participant numbers, and where they can feel and see that they matter. Their primary aim is to provide a service making people living with a disability feel safe, happy and valued.

What We Do

We provide support for people with a disability of all ages, abilities and backgrounds who have access to funding through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We can also offer the same services to private clients (outside of the NDIS). For example, Affirm Care provides nursing care to children with complex medical and technological needs requiring support to live and participate in the community.

We will work with you to help bring your NDIS Plan to life by providing a range of support services in your home and community, and connecting you to other services as well. We specialise in serving people with disability from culturally diverse backgrounds.
