Our Leadership Team

Scott Richardson

Chief Executive Officer
Scott, a dedicated professional with a strong background in education, seamlessly merges education and community engagement in his career. Initially recognised for his skills in professional soccer, he quickly gained acclaim for using sports to connect with individuals, fostering a deep passion for grassroots and community development. Transitioning from coaching professional football, Scott shifted towards community-based football initiatives, creating award-winning programs that focus on areas such as employment, education, and health. He empowers individuals and builds meaningful connections with local stakeholders to unify communities. Upon relocating to Australia, Scott applied his education skills to serve not-for-profit organisations in the out-of-home care and disability sector. He is extensively involved in the National Disability Insurance Scheme and Quality and Safeguarding framework. In addition to his practical work, Scott trains others in Protective Behaviours WA and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, emphasising personal and community safety. He advocates for cultural competency and embraces The Sanctuary Model, which promotes safety and recovery from trauma. Scott served as the Executive Operations Manager at Affirm Care, driving the organisation's growth. As CEO, he navigates the NDIS with a strategic focus on individual participants. Continuing to be a driving force in community development, Scott combines his passion for education, sports, and engagement to create lasting positive impacts.
