Restructure Announcement

From the Chairman’s Desk

The beginning of a new year can provide an opportunity for reflection and consideration of new opportunities. This is exactly the moment for Affirm Care to engage in such a process.

With the finalisation of our new three-year Strategic Plan at the end of 2023, which allowed for a process of reflection on goals, accomplishments, and future directions, we are announcing some significant and exciting changes to our organization.

We have undertaken a restructure exercise which envisions a continuation of many of the core elements of our work, but with a significant shift toward consolidating the work we do to serve those that entrust us with the responsibility to achieve their daily and life goals.

Our leadership team is going to look different:

Scott Richardson, who headed our Operations Team for the last year and half, is our new CEO. Nicky Montgomery who joined us in 2023 as Therapy and Training Manager, moves into the Executive Manager: Operations and Clinical Governance role whilst Rejoyce Mukanya has added responsibilities to her finance portfolio and now heads our whole Business team, being Executive Business Manager.

I am still with Affirm Care and have transitioned into a new position as Executive Chairman whilst our previous Business Manager, Portia Muchandibaya is now our Director for Business Strategy and Innovation.

We hope that you will join us in wishing our new Executive Management team led by Scott well in their new ventures and support us in this time of transitioning, re-envisioning and assist us in spreading the word about these exciting new opportunities.
